Originally known as Niagara Falls Airport Drag Strip, the track opened its gates in 1961 and quickly became one of drag racings hottest venues. Niagara Drag Strip hosted the New York State Championship Drag meet. 4500 plus avid drag racing fans flocked to the venue to cheer more than 224 races.
